Lake Latonka is a lakeside community located in central Mercer County, Pennsylvania that highlights the benefits of Environment One's Low Pressure Sewer Technology.  The community was directed by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection to correct their failing septic systems.  As a result, Gannett Fleming was hired by the lake to determine the most cost effective and reliable system to solve the problem.  After reviewing options such as gravity sewers and other sewage pump stations, Environment One technology was chosen.  Presently over 600 homes connected to the pressure system are discharging into the new sewage treatment plant.  Lake Latonka's system has been in operation for over 8 years now and serves as a showcase by highlighting how Environment One's technology is the solution for both municipal sewer systems, as well as, a valuable tool for residential development of challenging tract of pristine property.
